McDonalds is expanding rapidly in South Africa. While this is the only goods hoist for the McDonalds group so far, we have received the orders for four McDonalds’ dumbwaiters in the last 6 months. It’s great to see this growth and continued investment in South Africa, particularly when so many investors are nervous and adopting a wait-and-see approach. We appreciate the approach shown by McDonalds, a similar approach to our own, where we are hiring more engineers despite the effects of the pandemic.

Each year there are many goods hoists that are manufactured in South Africa without the appropriate engineering oversight or the relevant calculations performed by an engineering team in the background. A company like McDonalds can’t afford to take chances on safety, so they came to the right place! Every unit that we manufacture has been designed and checked by our mechanical engineers in Durban, with the electrical side completed under the scrutiny of our electrical engineer. Goods hoists can be very dangerous, especially if the manufacturer doesn’t truly understand the physics of the product they are supplying. If you’re concerned about safety and reliability, drop us a mail and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
