Wesant manufactures robust goods hoists for reliable movement between floors in retail, warehouse and industrial buildings. Our goods hoists—also referred to as goods lifts, cargo lifts, cargo hoists or occasionally as freight lifts—are manufactured for goods only and are not intended to carry passengers.

Wesant has manufactured nearly 1,500 goods hoists for projects ranging from retail stores and distribution facilities to factories and warehouses. We supply multiple independent lift installation and maintenance companies throughout South Africa and are not tied to a single installer.

Many Wesant goods hoists have remained in service for more than two decades. That long working life reflects a practical design philosophy: build equipment that can withstand demanding daily use, is straightforward to maintain and can be supported with replacement components when wear or damage occurs.

Compliance Matters

Wesant goods hoists are designed and manufactured to comply with SANS 1545-5. Compliance is considered across the complete goods-hoist package, including the hoist car, controls, landing entrances, locking arrangements and relevant safety systems.
